The Equitom Foundation is officially recognized as a Public Utility Foundation (PUF), granted by royal decree, acknowledging its significant societal contribution. We are extremely proud of this recognition.
Our foundation is officially recognized by the government (click here), which means that the Equitom Foundation can issue tax-deductible receipts for donations starting from €40, but only after one year of operation.
The Belgian government requires that a foundation demonstrates sustainable operations and adherence to its objectives before being authorized to issue tax-deductible receipts. Therefore, a Public Utility Foundation (PUF) must be active for at least one year before it can accept tax-deductible donations.
This means that the Equitom Foundation will be able to issue tax receipts starting in early 2026.
